It's About Me

Was making out my grandkids Christmas cards this morning when I realized that from my two oldest daughters I have five grandbabies – each with a different last name and daddy’s.

Caitlyn Conroy, Haily Brown, Ashley Hillard, Alexis West, and Drake Goldman

I noted this fact to my husband and we had a good laugh about our wayward children. We love ‘em! And then he sarcastically noted my own heritage. Huh? Me and my siblings all had the same last name (dad adopted me and Warren).

Ah.

Between my mother and my aunt there are also five children. Each with different fathers.

Guess times haven’t changed near as much as we like to think.
