I went to Jacksboro yesterday and spoke with Dr. Paul Lillard of Jacksboro Veterinary Clinic. He knew Hoot, and he knew Socks and I thought he was going to literally fall on the floor when I showed him the pictures. He immediately ran and got me some antibiotics and said he would order some more and that Socks’ condition was an emergency situation.

I bought more feed, Purina’s Equine Senior, and some High-Protein Sweet Mix and mixed his dose of antibiotics in with it. First application of medicine is down.

The Deputy Sheriff called and said he got ahold of Jerrit Engledow, the horse abuser, and that he claimed A) he was on the premises everyday; B) he feeds Socks everyday; C) he wormed Socks just a month ago. The Deputy requested proof of receipts for the feed and all the medical care. He won’t be able to produce any. And tell me, if you were feeding your horse twice a day, as Jerrit claims, and he looked as skinny and sick as Socks does, wouldn’t you think that perhaps you’re not feeding ENOUGH and/or that possibly the horse was sick and needed other care?!!?!

Jerrit Engledow is a white trash, horse abusing, thieving liar.
